Goal: To keep our customers’ beds healthy, vibrant and beautiful so they can enjoy their landscape through all the seasons.

Picking out, purchase and delivery of plants is additional cost. Please see “Term of Service” for additional planting information.
  4. Mulching and Edging of Beds
    a. We take pride in the art of our mulching. Using hand edging tools in conjunction with edging machines, we provide the cleanest and most defined bed edges.
    b. We hand spread our mulch for more even application (instead of machine blown), and we apply a pre-emergent to all of our mulched beds.
    c. We suggest getting on our mulch schedule early, because April-June are the busiest months, and our schedule gets very full, quickly.
    d. We offer our bed maintenance program (above) to keep your mulch weed and debris free for the whole season.
  5. Planting of flowers and plants
    a. We can recommend or take suggestions. We use healthy plants and flowers from premium providers and will give you care instructions, but we are not responsible for the replacement or care of the plants, unless specifically hired to do so ( see level two of bed maintenance).
  6. Landscape Designs – See “Terms of Service” for additional information
    a. Designs range from $150-$250 depending on the size and detail. This cost will be put toward the job cost, if you decide to have the work done by Wohlf.
    b. We will sit with you to discuss your needs, colors, and ideas to create a design that works for you. We can design flower beds and a landscape that creates a succession of beauty and color through every season. We can also focus on designs to attract birds, butterflies and wildlife and/or adapt the garden to a native plant design.
  7. Fall Cleanup (one-time service)
    a. Trimming of shrubs and bushes in garden beds only, pruning and cutting back plants, shrubs, perennials and grasses one time.
    b. Cleaning out of all flower/mulch beds one time; includes one-time removal and disposal of resulting debris.
    c. For on-going leaf removal, see our “leaf cleanup” service.
  8. Leaf Cleanup (on-going or one-time service) – See “Retainer Services”
    a. We can take care of your leaves on an as-needed basis (please allow 2-3 weeks lead time during the fall season), or you can set up a recurring service (similar to lawn care), and we will come out on a regular basis to blow out your beds and clear your yard of leaves and debris. See Retainer Services on TOS.
  9. Lawn Treatments – See “Terms of Service” for additional information
    a. This is typically a full season program which includes the following 4 treatments.
    b. Early Spring: April – May – Pre-emergent weed and nutrient rich fertilizer
    c. Spring: April – May – Weed control
    d. Summer: Late May – June – Grub Control and Nutrient rich fertilizer
    e. Winter: November – December – Organic matter for winter feeding
    f. Depending on the results of your soil test ($30/test) we can customize your program with added treatments or alternative nutrients. We can add 1-2 more treatments, which will be spray applications for broadleaf weeds and crabgrass, depending on the needs of your lawn.
  10. Other Lawn Services – All best done in early spring or early fall
    a. Overseeding/Slit Seeding – We cross slit your yard, lay a blend of grass seed, then add a starter fertilizer.
    b. Aeration – This is to provide oxygen to the soil. This service goes really well with overseeding and lawn fertilization.
    c. Dethatching – Think of exfoliating your lawn. We run our detacher, and it roughs out the old dead grass and weeds, making room for new grass to grow. We then overseed and fertilize.
    d. Getting all three services done is one way to create a stunning and healthy lawn.
